Realturf set up OnSIP hosted VoIP for their business at the beginning of January 2025. We talked with Tatiana Jancowski, VP of Sales and Operations, to see how they’re using our VoIP service, and specifically Odoo’s integration with OnSIP, for their sales and support efforts.
Beautifying Landscapes from Florida to Europe
“Realturf Florida is the leading artificial turf manufacturer in Europe and now has four locations here in the USA,” says Tatiana.
From their showroom and warehouse in West Palm Beach, Florida, the manufacturing company sells artificial grass for various use cases including landscaping, golf putting greens, playgrounds, tennis courts, and other sports fields. Their turf products have received accreditation from many international sports governing bodies, with the most notable being FIFA (the ‘International Federation of Association Football’).

Pairing OnSIP with Odoo to Organize Workflows and Make Calls Faster
As a new company, one of the first things Realturf Florida needed to get done was choose and set up a business phone service. They selected OnSIP. “We chose to work with OnSIP mostly because of its integration with Odoo,” Tatiana notes.
Odoo is a provider of open-source business apps ranging from CRM, Sales, Helpdesk, Invoicing, and more. One of those apps is Odoo VoIP, which seamlessly integrates with the OnSIP service.
The OnSIP-Odoo integration enables users to work more efficiently by reducing time-consuming, manual tasks and streamlining workflows. Users can access the Odoo VoIP softphone widget within the Odoo dashboard so there’s no need to keep multiple browser tabs open or log into a separate web portal.
Tatiana explains: “We have the Odoo softphone right on our computers. With a simple mouse click, we can make calls to leads while working in the CRM. And what’s more, calls occur straight through our computers, so there’s no need to make them on a desk phone. This helps keep our employees nimble and our leads organized.”
And with the integration connecting with other business apps in Odoo’s suite of features, users can do more than just calling. As a call comes in, the integration will match the caller with the related contact record in your Odoo database and display it on the call rep’s screen. Your staff member can get right into the caller’s issue rather than telling them to wait while they search for and access the caller’s Odoo record.
Employees can also perform supportive tasks like sending emails, scheduling meetings, and viewing tickets right on the VoIP widget’s interface—without having to switch between browser tabs.
“Keeping everything on one screen and being able to directly dial a person from Odoo’s customer page or CRM lead makes everything very organized, quick, and efficient,” says Tatiana.
Tatiana additionally equipped her team with the OnSIP app (included free with her OnSIP account), our full-featured softphone available in the browser and as a mobile and desktop app. Staff members who use this app can video call their colleagues, host group video conference calls, listen to voicemail messages, and see their coworkers' presence statuses. “We also use OnSIP’s desktop and mobile apps. They work great for our needs.”
From the moment she set up her account, Tatiana has worked with OnSIP’s Sales and Customer Support teams to answer questions and configure features. She has particular praise for one representative that she has repeatedly engaged with from the beginning: Eden Harvest, one of OnSIP’s Sales Engineers. “Eden has been wonderful,” she says. “He has a super quick response each time we have contacted him with questions or when needing assistance.”
