The UC and VoIP markets are both growing at impressive rates. There are countless virtual PBX, UCaaS and VoIP phone providers out there, making it difficult for businesses to determine which solutions will benefit their organizations most. And, with more companies entering the market each day, offering new and improved products, the decision becomes every harder.
That’s why The Silicon Review Magazine’s list of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies of the Year 2017 is such an asset. Sreshtha Banerjee, Editor-in-Chief of The Silicon Review Magazine, described the objective of the magazine by saying, “The Silicon Review 50 Fastest Growing Companies of the Year 2017 program identifies companies which are revolutionizing the decision making and business growth process, and winning a spot on this list indicates the company has not only distinguished itself from peers by proving itself as one of the fastest growing companies but also helping other companies to gain momentum in the marketplace.”
If I were looking into solutions like virtual PBX or a VoIP gateway, a list like that would certainly draw my attention. OnSIP announced recently that it is one of the lucky 50 companies that has made the list. According to The Silicon Review, it selected OnSIP based on its financial growth, ability to retain customers, frequent innovation, and contribution to the IT sector at large.
Most notable of OnSIP’s accomplishments is its UCaaS platform, which is made possible due to the company’s embrace of WebRTC. Some distinctive features of the platform, which made it stand out from the crowd and landed OnSIP on the prestigious list, are the OnSIP Free Plan and the OnSIP App.
The Free Plan allows businesses to use an Internet-based voice, video, and messaging solution, all at no cost. With this capability, users can make unlimited Web voice and video calls while also having access to apps and integrations with business services such as Slack and Zendesk.
Meanwhile, the OnSIP App is a webphone for OnSIP end users which provides voice and video calling, business-grade call control, voicemail management, call queue monitoring, conferencing calling capabilities and drag-and-drop transfer abilities.
Clearly, OnSIP is on a mission to move business calls completely to the Web, making it an advocate for WebRTC and landing it on The Silicon Review’s 50 Fastest Growing Companies list for 2017. If the company continues on such an innovative path, it’s sure to land that spot time and time again.
